Gmc/chevy 1950 Pickup?

Hows it going everyone..I had my truck for about a couple of weeks, little by little findind stuff out about it..Well I found out that it is a 1947-50 GMC cab, with a 1950 Chevy front end..Now I don't know if theres even hybrids like this one out there? How would I get a title for this chevy/GMC?, im confused..any info? Thanks!!

The 1947 (second design) through 1953 GMC and Chevy cabs and front fenders are identical. The only difference is the hood and grille. If the VIN on the cab is Chevy, that's what it is. Someone swapped the front end at some time in the last 60 years.

If you check I believe you'll find the front fenders on a GMC are different than the Chevy units in order to accept the GMC grill.
