bump the pressure upto 30ish and lay that on wet move closer to the panel you can also use a slower reducer/hardner

|Jim Rockford||I just sprayed a honda with some Nason SS 2k , tech sheet says first coat needs to be a medium coat,so I layed it on, I was scared of runs but it didn't , so Try it with a little heaver coat, and wait for it to tack up and Hit it again, Medium coats, Two spaying on a test panel just to see how much it takes to make it run and then you know how far not to go.|

|swvalcon||From pictures looks like maybe your moving to fast, too fast of reducer, maybe try just a little more reducer about 10%. and slow down to where its going on nice and wet [just not to wet] On single stage I close off mixture screw and then open it up about 21/2 full turns this is a good starting point. If your putting down to much paint the gun can't spray it out smooth.And as said earlier if your doing this out side in the sun theres no way to not get peel.|

|50bowTie||no pro here but I've sprayed tons of paint Like said above. Two medium wet coats. NEVER dust coat or build up to a final flow coat. If you're reducer is matched accordingly to the temp your spraying in, you can flow this stuff pretty heavy on your first coat without running or sagging. Even over a 400grit surface.|

|Lizer||in the pictures it looks crunchy and dry like you're spraying too far away, making your swipes too fast, or the fluid setting is too restrictive.|

|Paintdian||I haven't measured a specific distance, but I spray approx. six inches away. What ever distance that I can see that the suface is becoming wet. I did do one light coat, let it tack, then did another light coat, tacked for a bit longer like 20 minutes, and then did a final one. It dosn't feel like I am putting it on too heavy but it just appears that the paint sprays on rough or something. I am following the steps as best I can but its just not working for me|

Bad Struggle with Nason SS
Hello guys. I have come here with hopes of seeking different opinions for a newbie painter. I have zero experience with automotive paint finishes although a house painter by trade. What I am doing it restoreing a pop up trailer and have done the body work and blocked down the 2K filler ready for paint.
The deepfreeze is what I am spraying to get to know how to use this paint. I have had nothing but bad luck here.
Ive read many things over the nett and watched videos but the thought of doing this is alot easier then actually doing it. Ive sprayed this deepfreeze four times now and it isn't getting to where id like to see it.
The paint is some new environmental Nason SS.

Setting the inlet presure with trigger on air to 25 PSI
The trigger knob is wide open, the patten is two turns back from wide open. To my knowledge when shooting it on a peice of paper looks consistant and even from top to bottom.
I am spraying the surface with 50% overlap as best I can, in arm legths, keeping air comin out of the gun when letting off the trigger at the end of the strokes.
Im doing nnothing but sprayin money into thin air What am I missing guys any ideas?
