Forget the stop leak. It softens ALL the seals in the system.
Just buy a replacement hose for it ,
Stop leak is a used car lot fix, it can cause a lot of trouble in the long run.
Chances are it wouldnt help with the leak in that hose anyway.
Remember, what you put in the system affects every part, not just the one you want, could be good , could be bad. Are you a Gamblin man?

Steering leak where rubber line meets metal line
There's a nice little leak on my 02 tahoe right where the rubber line meets the metal line. I'm going to fix it but in the mean time i was thinking about using some lucas ps stop leak until i have the time to replace it. Anyone have any experience with the lucas ps stop leak? Does it work pretty good?
Also, should i buy an oe replacement line or should i pull the old one off and have one made? would the second option be cheaper? I think they were running about $45-50 for the oe replacement, but that seems kinda pricy for a piece of rubber and metal. any thoughts?
