Just picked up a 65 Nova 2dr. Anyone know what year nova rear seats will bolt right in? Anyone ever get a non nova seat to fit with minor modifications?

First of all, they don't bolt in. The rear seat back is held in place by some hangers that the seat back slips over which then gets two or three screws at the bottom that hold it in place, and the seat bottom slips in under the seat back and is held in place by two clips on the floor of the car.

Your Chevy (II) Nova, was still in it's first generation in 1965. Chevy Nova and Chevy II from 1962 to 1965 would have the same rear seats. Offerings from Pontiac, possibly the Tempest in those years may fit, but you're probably going to have to find seats from a Chevy II or Nova from those three model years.

Thanks for the info! That at least possibly widens my search. I'm not going with totally stock original. They will be recovered Anyway with A more custom design. The hunt is on!

I would track down a stock seat myself. If you looking to make it look "custom" you can do that with the foam, covers, etc.

Worse case I am 99% sure I have a spare rear seat sitting in Seattle.
Ya I'm going with a retro modern mix for the interior. I'm interested in your rear seat. Question is how to get it to So Cal?! ;)

If you guys are going to work out a deal, please do it through the personal message function. Your back and forth should not be posted in the tech forums. Thanks.
