philPKP JP00. I"ve just put a 43 cab on a 79 chassis. the 43 cab is wedge shaped from the back to front.
Ihad a 50 chevy 3100 a while back, which i swapped a bench seat for buckets,now the bench won"t go into a 43
The 43 is app 50" wide ,Wereas the 79 is app60"

40 /47 ford pickup interchange

i have an opportunity to buy a 47 ford pick-up ,project vehicle ,for not much money , but i really don't like the nose appaearance.. does anybody know for sure whats involved in putting a 40 nose on ?? ..cabs look similar , but some input from somebody who knows for sure ,would sure be a big help in making a decision .. thank you for the help ..jim prowse , ontario canada ..
