i currently have a qjet on my 72 318 satellite that now needs a complete overhaul. i have been offered a 3310 holley carb that needs a re build for 50$.
im tempted but have no experience with this particular holley, is it worth the extra few dollars to go with this holley and has anyone had experience with this carb?
First the 3310 is 750 CFM,too much for a 318 it is also a square bore carb which means you would need an adapter and spread bore to square bore adapters are bad for flow.I would pass on it and get your carb rebuilt.
I would like to see a picture posted of it top and bottom so we all can I.D. it,I have a Holley spreadbore from a Mopar motorhome sitting in the garage.
a properly rebuilt qjet would get better fuel mileage
