Well !!!! I started cutting the iron yesterday at around 4:eek:o .. This is going to be another homemade hot rod... I was going to keep this one behind the doors.. But why not let everyone see it in the making... It will not be built in 75 hours.. I will be taking this one ''ALL'' the way.. I aways thought the pizza wagon was so cool.. I was going to make one just like it, But decided to make it my own.. SOMETHING DIFFERENT.. The pizza wagon was done already.. Time for a new one.. I hope everyone enjoys the build and thread.. Feel free to speak up.. THE AMPS ARE NOW BURNING !!! :mwink:

Nothing !!!! Never gave me any problem before....

They sell them like that for a reason... :mwink:
They are ran on MANY t-buckets today that way.. :D
I have seen plenty with real bad tire wear. But they "work" it would have to handle better with it proper. I have never driven a car without it before but it sure seems like those tires wanting to go in opposite directions thru every corner would be noticeable.

The thing is all it takes is steering arms that are designed for the front wouldn't it? As I said, I have never done it but I have seen the steering arms that go out towards the wheels more (with those discs there's plenty of room) and they just bolt on like those so I would think they could simply be used instead?

Here's a few that must be having the same problem with the Akerman angle..
Been ran this way for years,, And people or still building cars this way.... Must not be that big of a deal..... I can say this much.... You can't tell the difference if you didn't see it first.... You can't tell in the ride for sure.... Some can and will say different,,, And I know you will be one of them.... But that doesn't matter..I owned a few with it... And there was no sign's of anything wrong... :D

On this car I ran the mustang spindles backwards... So I could put the rack on the back side... I used a geo rack.... I ran this car on the road almost ever day on some very long trips...... For a few years.... NEVER once did I have to change the front tires OR get the front end lined up.... If you didn't know it was done that way,,, You would have called me a liar... And there's more then one of this site that can back up what I'm saying... That car is still going strong today.....That's a lot of years to prove it work's...

On my rat truck I built... I had the front end set up the same way as my C-cab.... When the man drove 17 hrs one way to buy it.... The very first thing he said when He drove it.... Was ''I can't get over how good it drives''

And he has many cars.... So I know it wasn't his first ride in one..That say's a lot about a home made car.. ;)

Or they the best set up out there,,,, No !!! Not at all.... But you will be surprised at how good they drive... The t-bucket I'm building right now, Has the same set up... I never rode in a t-bucket before this one... I have to say.... I'm thinking about building me one.... It drives so nice... And fun to drive too..

This will work for sure.... The arm has to be shorter then the ones I have. or they will hit the wheel... Even on them... If you draw the lines through the king pins... You will see you can get it closer,, But not dead on...

ditto on that!
It is one of the most interesting threads ever on any site! I wish he could have kept on it right to the end without stopping it would have been mind blowing to see how fast this car could have been created from NOTHING. I have shown this thread to many people and it always gets the same jaw dropped response. :mwink: Honestly, one of the most enteresting and educational threads ever.

Just for the records for the ones here that was thinking the car was so heavy.... Me and speedydeedy went weigh the c-cab today....

The c-cab weighed in at 2240.lbs with the big block and trans just like you see it in this picture... That should put a end to the weight Question..A good closure..
