johnnymopar chevynut,

i got this idea from roy @ roy's hotrod garage and it works great. Weld a bolt onto the broken bolt and turn it out. I had to do this on my door hinges. I managed to get 5 of 8 bolts this way, and they were VERY rusted. I think an engine bolt should be easier because it is generally dry.

chevynut Thanks for the reply HotRods10. Its not a bolt broke in the head, but the head of the bolt is broke off and all other bolts are out so the manifold should come right off but doesnt. I think the bolt is seized to the manifold. Thanks, chevynut.

HotRodS10 Break out the drill, a good drill bit and either buy or rent a tap set (Auto Zone will rent it to you and give you all your money back upon returning it). Drill it out and then tap it....I've had to do it a million times, well, maybe not a million....but close. Good luck, HRS10

broken exhaust manifold bolt

I have a 327 chev that had a broken exhaust manifold. All bolts came out but one and it snapped off. The manifold must be seized to the bolt because it will not come off. I have tried heat, wax, WD-40 and so far nothing has worked. Any and all Ideas would be welcomed. Thanks, chevynut.
