With my experience driving in the winter (and living in Northern Ontario, I've had quite a bit), I'd leave it FWD. They handle a lot better in the winter time. What is the set up? I wouldn't go any more than a 3.8 V-6, you can mount them transversally for front wheel drive applications. You can also get some performance parts for them. If you go to a V-8 it produces more torque and is a lot harder to control wheel spin in the winter. Unless you like spinning your tires at EVERY stoplight.

:D well it wont be a winter car anymore if that project would be complete. I would put it away as i have other cars i can drive but it be good to drive in summer time. Especially to pick a race with someone because they wouldn't expect a car to have anything special done to it. For winter time I'm getting some 4X4

So do you have any idea where i can get started?
