B@D Yes just barley I usually tell people if they are doing a conversion insert the yoke all the way into trans then pull it out about 1-1.5 inches , that is where you want it to give it clearance to travel in and out as the rear moves up and down .

mrpate The 27 spline yoke from the power glide seems to work.

On the power glide transmission the spline was inserted 2.75 inches into the yoke. Is this depth also acceptable for the 200 4R?

The small block chevy that is coupled to the 200 4R will produce approximately 350 h.p.

Thanks for your responses------Mark

B@D A 1967 glide should be a 27 spline , all 2004r is a 27 spline so it should work fine

Can I transfer the Yoke from my PG to a 200 4R?

I am replacing the power glide transmission in my 67 vette with a 200 4R. The 200 4R does not have a yoke on the transmission. Can I remove the yoke from my power glide transmission and install on the 200 4R? It appears that both are 27 spline, but I do not know if the shaft that extends from the yoke is the proper length in order to fully seat into the 200 4R.

If the yoke will work on the 200 4R, what is the best way to remove it from the power glide.
