DBM and Milo are very experienced painters and what they may be able to get by with may not be in reach of the rest of us mere mortals. I recommend application of a thinned coat of epoxy or sealer to get the car all one color so the job comes out even in color for the rest of us..

|deadbodyman||Thats the main reason to use a sealer...too get it all one color ...A lot of the bases out there are very transparent so the slighest variation could cause problems. but like Milo said it depends...|

If i were to paint over two different color sealers would the end result look different?
