Blown496 Thanks for all the help. I took the backing plate to Autozone and asked for 76 Bronco and they fit perfect. Gonna write that on the garage wall in magic marker.

Yep, that would be using the FD9023 cross-reference. 53-66 F350 which was 1-1/4" bore.

66GMC Hmmm .... I wasn't able to cross FP-9023 either.
FD-9023 works ... NAPA NUP 9344 (Raybestos WC-9344), but that number isn't listed to fit any Fords with that size of brakes.

By application:
1976 Bronco with 11 x 2-1/4
NAPA 370192 LH
370193 RH
15/16" bore

These wheel cylinders fit virtually ALL Ford full-size, midsize, E-F150's ... so I think we're on the right track. Just verify that bore size, and perhaps the fitting size/orientation. I'm thinking that it shoud be 7/16-24 thread, but the online catalogs don't give those specs.

I may be able to provide more details from the Illustrated Buyers Guide (paper catalog) when I get back to work on Tuesday.

Thanks for the endorsement, Centerline.

Centerline First, don't waste your time at the "auto parts store". Napa will have what you need. They may not have it in stock but it usually only takes a day or so for them to get it from the warehouse.

Can't find Ford wheel cylinders

I have a large bearing 9" with 11x2 1/4 shoes. The Wagner number on the cylinders is fp 9023. I spend an hour going through boxes at the parts store with my backing plate in hand and their computer doesn't show them. I would thing all big fords are the same but evidently not. My backing plates search on the net only shows up once as 76-77 Bronco but that got us no where.
