Dual carb adapter?

I have a 63 nova that i am trying to setup as a 70s style street machine , I currently am running a 355 small block that is mildly modified .What i would like is a adapter of some sort to mount 2 two barrel carbs on a single 4 barrel mainifold . I understand it would be simple to install a dual carb mainfold but I have never been one for simple and like the unusaul. Tunning dual carbs is one project i have enjoyed and have done a number of dual carbs on 6 cylinder motors in the past . I also understand that a single 4 barrel would produce the most power but this is just a fun street machine

It's definitely NOT 70's style. By the 70s multiple carbs were way out of favor with everybody and big single Holleys with velocity stacks were in (along with side pipes or purple hornies and foot long shackles).

It wasn't until the mid to late 70's that you started seeing blowers on the street and they were 71 series style. The little blowers didn't even exist then. Of you saw an adaptor on an intake it was a JC Whitney unit allowing a 4 BBL carb to be put on 2 BBL intake, (those guys usually got laughed at).

In case you're wondering I was street racing a 62 Chevy II back in the early 70s with a single 4 BBL 327 and glide we transplanted into it.

I believe it's a bit of a misnomer to say "little blowers didn't even exist then". In the '70's and well before then the 4-71 Jimmy blowers were in wide use and were available as small as 225 ci displacement.

As for not seeing blowers on the street until the late '70's, I suppose it depends on where you were at the time. ;)
