poncho62 Headers for a big block 74 truck with 4x4 should fit fine.......As for the transmission length thing....a 4x4 tranny in 74 was bolted right to the transfer case with an adapter. A car T400 wont work.

project 1965 fleetside

Hello fellow hot rodders. I am new to this computer stuff so bear with me I am starting my first project involving my recenly purchased 1965 fleetside pickup on a1974 4x4 chevy 3/4 ton frame will be replacing small block with big block also upgrading to a turbo 400 I am concered with the length of the to trannys don't want to cut the floor of the truck no more than I have to. Also going to need a set of headers that will fit right any ideas will be helpful will have pictures to post soon. Thank you. Mike upton
