Welcome !!!

Best way to post pics is to have them on a host site. I use Photobucket Photo and image hosting, free photo galleries, photo editing Once you have them loaded on there, you copy and paste the link on here. By using the Forum option of the link, the photo comes up live, rather than a link we need to click on.

I don't think the '38 trucks had headlight stands. I know the cars didn't and I looked at a pair of truck shells once and I thought they bolted directly to the grille shell also...

Hey guys, I haven't been around much, and I haven't been working on the car (its just been sitting there giving me dirty looks while I do other stuff)
My big problem is, I have a short attention span, and too many different interest/hobbies.
But I always circle back around.
I can feel the car coming back into view.
Getting on here will help throw some fuel on that fire I hope.
I just have some odds and ends of other projects to get finished up.
Then maybe dig out the car
The hard part is I know I am not that far away from making big steps in progress on the project
and that is needed to keep me interested.
I have a ton of parts just waiting to go on the car
Just need to spend the time to get to that point.

hopefully I will keep in touch and get going again soon.

Leakie Looking good, The interior is shaping up nicely. Don't you hate ebay, things look and sound so much better than they usually are.

Too Many Projects Just got back from the muffler shop.......WOW what a huge difference the sound level is inside now. Almost too quiet...

Before:

After....

Couple shots of the interior since it's "almost" finished. I still need to fit the left sill plate. I don't like the carpet and may have a custom one made. The crap I bought off ebay is complete junk...

WHAT ???? He can't take the whole summer off..............get to work on that car and drive it.......

I take mine to a muffler shop on Tuesday to extend the tail pipes. They end just behind the rear tires now ands it's loud and noxious to drive. They will be out just to the bumper...

Leakie Hey 38Sedan, I was just checking out your project journal, nice work, keep it up!

OK, it's a guarantee because there is no deposit. You essentially "agree" to buy a part IF they decide to make it again. I imagine many people get something in the interem and move on. So, as I initially said, they should just make the parts and have them available.
