I am pretty happy with what I ended up with, the new tires are tall enough that it doesnt look too ridiculous.
Here are the rears on the car

I have spent the last couple weeks doing a bunch of homework and measuring.
Then today I spent a couple hours at the tire store having them mount up a few different size tires.
This evening I tried them all on the car.
Here is what I came up with, the newer size are a lot taller, raising the car off the ground while making it look lower, by filling the wheel well better.
plus this will help my hwy RPM (3.70:1 rear gears and a th350)
Fronts Old vs. New
195/70R14 vs. 245/45R17 (I might go a size taller)
Rears Old vs. New
235/70R15 vs. 255/55R18

|Leakie||Found it.... 29-54 CHEV Passenger Catalogue- If you look down the list of 37-38 parts they list a 2 inch wider front fender.|
