I got an email from I&I reproduction a bit ago and called Wendy just before she went home for the weekend.
They have the '38 center hood supports back in stock and they are selling fast. Mine will be here next week, along with a few other goodies, including sun visor brackets and visor assemblies ready for upholstery...

|Leakie||Yes, I made it, except I bought the SS cup holders. Brackets? Are you talking about the seat Belts? Yes it is low but there is not a lot of room between the seats and it would have had to have been a couple feet high if I wanted an arm rest.|

|matts37chev||Seems a little bit low, but does something go on the brackets on the rear of it?|

Console is done and in. Just about done with the interior. Been cold and rainy here, I hope it is not a sign of things to come, it's to early for this weather. Hopefully I will have some cruising time left this year.

I am using a MII type suspension but I am not running drop spindles and have 15 x 6 inch wheels with 3.5 inch backspace.
I would think you would need a smaller wheel if you use a drop or at least a no sidewall tire.

Drop spindles create clearance issues with the tie rod and require larger wheels just by themselves.

Mustang II with drop spindles
Question of the day for everyone running a Mustang II front end with 2" drop spindles. What size rim and tire are you running and what backspacing? I have regular spindles and want to put drop spindles on mine but don't think my current wheel and tire combo will fit with out rubbing on the fenders.
