Just like Trophyman says, if you lay it out well, and roll it down good, nothing is getting under it.

I am very happy with it, and it was very easy to put down.

In fact my wife was impressed with how well it worked once we drove the car.
I think she was a little skeptical about it, probably because of how much it costs vs how thick it is.
But it made a big difference in the sound level.

I like the adjustable plate, good thinking

Trophyman I've used Dynamat on a couple pf projects with very good results. If the floor is clean, when you put the Dynamat down and roll it out, it adheres to the floor. after it's been down for a bit, it really sticks. I would be difficult, even for a leak, to get under the Dynamat.

Got the carpet and seatbelts back in also.
I removed the center seat belts, so now I only have belts for 4 people, I couldnt imagine 6 people crammed into the car.
(Plus, I can use those 2 extras in the 37, when I get that far)
I will need to pull the carpet back to do the footwells and firewall later, but I need to drive the car some more before summer is over
are there any issues with condensation or damp under the dynamat

The soul sucking, evil universe, I spend too much time slogging through.

Today I (we, the wife helped off and on) put the interior back in the 38.
It is nice to see the car outside of the garage.
We went for a little test drive, and the car is way quieter inside.
It's really hard to explain the difference in sound, it's just not as noisy inside.
I didn't even get to the front 1/4 of the floor and firewall.
So the next project will be to do the firewall stuff, seal up where the heater hoses go through etc.

Then I will tackle the stereo.

No, Gregg Wolf did.
I have looked for one for our cars a few times and couldn't find any.
Then about 3 months ago I found it, he had just started right before I found it.
I am an admin. in the group.
I do a bunch of other (too much) stuff on FB, so it's easy for me to help him keep things going the way he wants, since I am always checking in for other stuff.
