If you haven't already, watch these vids. Pete does a great job showing you how it's built. You may see parts you need in the vids too..... You may be able to contact him too..... Not sure if he's still available for this build or not...

In my opinion you don't need the book, it can be more confusing than helpful imo.
As far as parts go you will have to try and make a list. Most parts from a real 34 Ford will not fit with out a lot of work. So you will have to try and find them on this site or others which could prove tough.
I have a few, if you would like to pm me I can tell you what I have.

Ours is a Currie equivalent of a Ford 9". It was provided by Currie to Streetbeasts back when they were in business. You can call Currie and they can provide you with options for your build.

No.I did not use body welting on my 34 ford coupe.Has been together for 20 years. However I did extensive fiberglass work tying the floors etc. together.Have had over 8 different engine transmission combinations. The present setup is a 392 hemi with a 6-71 blower and a 16 port plate nitrous system .pills are for 400 h.p..Removed the 833 18 spline 4 speed manual shift.Installed a 4l80e without the ecu with all the sensors etc.. Built a stand alone system. It can be built for under $ 100 with salvage yard parts.Best part is the unit can be set for any tire gear ratio .only have to flip some switches.
I do not know your progress on your build. The original assembly manual is worth less than cheap Chineese toilet paper on sale. The biggest obstacle is setting the doors to the body. Also check your frame for squareness. My frame was 1" out.Body in rear ,passenger side also out.Did a lot of reinforcing, rewelded almost every part.
Installed a hydroboost with a 90* under dash brake setup.Has brakes no matter what rpm.System was from a cadillac seville.Word to the wise.Match master cylinder for weight of car. Also must have the correct stroke.Mustang II front spindles 2" lower.11" Fairmont rotors.chevy camaro calipers.rear is a built 8.8 narrowed 8" 3:73 gears.Auburn locker.mooser shortened heavy duty axles.c-clip eliminators.rear brakes are 11" lincoln versailles.eldorado calipers with e-brake.Drive shaft custom built from a gm 3500 truck to large 93 f 150 rear yolk.yes it's a slip shaft similiar to front driveshaft on a 4x4. rear tires are mickey thompson 29x15.5x15.interior is diamond pleated 3x4 pattern.black of course.seats are from a chevy on cadillac 8 way electric frame.even has ac and heat.built my air bag suspension.2600 lb bags on all 4 corners.8" diameter.will ride at 3" in front and 5" in rear.total travel 8".there's a ton of other mods.these are a few.
Pete in southwest streetrods has several you tube videos on the streetbeasts.his mouth and language leave alot to be desired.yet very informative.has been straightening out classic motor caraiges, sunshine automotive ,streetbeast and a couple of other parent companies tied to the federal class action lawsuit.I know and have been involved with all the court hearings etc..

you would be better off using frame webbing instead of welting....

my SB 34 cabriolet build continues. Does everyone use welting between the fiberglass body parts and the frame?

Apologies, pages 15-16 had the original metal from the factory. Page 21 had the redesigned and improved Metalwork.
