Drive out the roll pin then make up or buy a gear puller and slide that gear off. You can always drill it between a couple of teeth if the gear is junk, then breaking it, but you do risk damaging the shaft that way.
Got it. Thanks. By the way, a 1/8" punch works to drive the pin out. The gear slid off no problems.

P.S. My "dimple" on the dist gear is on the opposite side of the rotor's "tip," not on the same side of the shaft.
