Let me know if you have used this dye yet. If you haven't, i have been doing dye work for about 25 years. I can probably help.

Here's another vote for SEM. I just did a console/armrest
with their gray; looks factory and seems to wear well.

|DanTwoLakes||Also, none of the advise will produce a good finished product. SEM products, including their cleaners, dyes, and adhesion promoters are the best way to go in my opinion. If I spray red over white, I get red, not pink. I'm sure there are other dyes out there, but I've had great results with SEM.|

|HelmetTester||i think thats fusion by krylon you're thinking of. im using that on plastic, but the paint im asking about is the vinyl only paint. i havent used the fusion yet, i want to do the whole thing in one shot. i'll let you know how it comes out. problem is they almost always come out good at first but who knows how long it'll last.|

This question was posted weeks ago ... it appears no one has used this stuff yet, but it sure looks cool to me. It's suppose to bond to plastics on a molecular level.
If you try it, please post here and let us know what you think, eh?

rustoleum vinyl paint
has anyone used this? its new and i am lookin for something to change the color of a vinyl door panel. they say it actually contains vinyl and i would think it would be pretty durable. its not just a dye like the others where you can only clean up the appearance of what you already have. any info appreciated.
