Dutchman Shoot, I have a house in Portsmouth, Va and there is a creek leading to the Elizabeth river at the back of my property. My daughter-in-law is there and she is clueless. My boat is stored on stands and I'm wondering if the storm surge will be high enough to make the boat float.
Keep those fans blowing- it sucks watching the storm turn toward Hampton Roads from the Asian Seas.

trees HK, better batten the hatches and heat for high ground!!! I'v been thru two hurricanes and one typhoon and am much wiser for it. One answer--EVUCATE-- and don't go back until the water and power is up and going again!! This one is going to be bad! Just hope too many do not get to "share the pain" !!

All you east coasters need to pitch in and help us south eastern coastal guys. Everyone go outside and point your fans toward the atlantic. If we create a big enough wind we can blow Isabell back to wherever it came from. I don't have time to worry about a hurricane. I have to much going on in to many places to pack my sheet and evacuate with the slightest on what I'm going to come back to so come on guys and gals and get that wind stirred up! I know if there are any other coastal guys they feel the same way. Dammit! I'm the big bad wolf, I huff and puff and blow the house down, and eventuallt eat little red riding hood, but thats another story!
