I'm a little late to the party, but I missed this thread a month or so ago.
I'm just wondering what an original set of Cyclone Purple Hornies would be worth? They are definately different looking than the new Flowtech version.

This post brings back memories of the local town marshall stopping me and telling me I had to put mufflers on my car or he was going to give me a ticket.
I said, John look underneath , I heve a brand new set of Purple Hornies. He gave me an odd look, then looked under my 1969 Z28, said well I dont know if those are legal or not.
He never stopped me again , but I tried to keep a lighter foot after that when I was in his town.

Cyclone Purple Hornies
Yes boys and girls. There are still NOS sets of 4" purple hornies in boxes covered with dust. Dust from the mid to late 80's. Waiting for someone to someday bolt them up to a set of headers and fire them up. Warming those puppies up for a yelp at start up to the sweet sound of them barking out those lovely sounds at red line. I might have a set or two of them if you let me know. I will look.

1930u Cyclone 4" Purple Hornies
I wonder if there could possibly be a new old stock original set of 4" Purple Hornies left anywhere in the world? I would love to have them.
