I'm pretty sure most of us old guys remember them. The Mile-A-Mor, if I remember correctly, was introduced to counter the high gas prices of the early 70's due to the Arab Oil Embargo. Unless I miss my guess, Isky still has the masters to grind one today.
Yep. 1973 to be exact, I remember pulling into a gas station in my '73 Ford shorty custom Van with the side pipes (sounded sooo good) and saw that gas had gone to $.49.9 ....I pulled out and said "there's no way in hell I will ever pay 50 cents a gallon for gas". ain: Anywho, I'm sure 'ol Ed still has the masters, he never throws anything away.
I remember seeing the Mile-A-Mor series cams listed in the Isky catalogs but they didn't have the specs listed, it just said "Confidential". So I doubt they would even tell you what they are even if you called and asked. Im sure their patented and proprietary if they are going to that extent to keep it so hush-hush.
