If you are new to engine building, check out this wiki: "Chevrolet engine rebuild guide books and DVDs". These titles are regularly recommended by the members of this forum.

If you are shopping around for specific recipes, know Mr. Techninspector1 usually recommends this page: "Small Block Chevy Dynoed Combos". Tons to pick from.

You may also wana check out the latest Car Craft issue. They do a budget build using a crate motor.

dinger Here is a decent post on this.

You may want to use the search function, try 350 Chevy torque motor as a search. This has been done many many times, I think some of our engine guys get weary of answering the same questions. Good luck.

350 build

1972 350 going in a 79 dump truck. looking to rebuild as cheap as possible and get as much low end power. Any sugg would be appreciated. Its a weekend warrior/wood truck.
