55 f100 brakes econo

Hi: Working on 55 f100. I know I can buy a complete kit to install front disc brakes. I am sure there has got to be a cheaper way but have not a clue on what to use for master cyl. calipers/rotors while still using the stock front and rear susp. The truck is currently all stock

Thanks for the info enjenjo. Found the parts like you said at no limit eng.
What year f 150 rotors and year of f 150 master cyl. Also the year of the GM calipers and mustang booster. Plan on running the stock pedals with manual trans

The parts to use are in the instructions. The booster is a common one, used through the 80s in Mustang, LTD II, Tbird, Cougar and others. The rotors are from about 1970 to the 90s some time, Ford used the same rotor forever. I think the calipers are Big GM, the part number is in the instructions. I used a 91 F150 master cylinder so I could set it up for remote fill easily. That is not the one they recommend, bit functionally the same.
