Crosley A ''little slippage' for 1 or 2 seconds is not good. Sounds like the band is damaged.

If you remove the servo for the band, look on it for numbers to learn what size the servo is. Post back when you can

700r4 only slipping in 2nd gear for 1-2 seconds?

I have a 93 z28 with a 700r4 from a 88 trans am in it. my problem is that while driving normal it slides into 2nd gear and when you give it a little gas while its in 2nd gear it slips for about 1-2 seconds then catches and goes. if you hold it in 2nd gear then go WOT it will redline then the trans will catch and it will go fine. all other gears work fine including overdrive. i was told it might be the 2-4 bands but my overdrive still works fine. it does have a aftermarket corvette 2nd gear servo in it could that be the problem if one of the cheap o-rings tore? thanks for any input and and the tv cable is adjustable correctly
