Basic starting diagram

There's another website you can check out.
It has P/N's and it shows a diagram/schematic. I think you can print it out.

Thanks for the reply man. I did print the painless BOOK up but see, the previous owner of my Jeep had a shop put in the new painless wiring harness, but, what they did was left the old wires from the factory wiring harness and ran the painless right along the old, just leaving them there. Not to mention any names but they spliced just about every wire(including the one going to the coil!!!)
I basically wanted to get my jeep running again, this way I can drive it and work on it while I'm not driving it. That's why I need just the engine wiring diagram. So batt.,fuel pump, coil,MSD ignition & switch, alt, elec. fan, gauges, electric choke on carb and wire from steering column. That's about it correct? Thank you for taking the time to help me!
Take it easy!

vicrod Go to the Painless web site and take a look at the most basic harness they make. Select the manual and read it.
You should then have an idea of how to proceed.
Painless makes many different harnesses. Some are designed for early Jeeps.
It is important to understand that the early Jeeps used parts from the 3 majors so wire colors are varied.
As far as the crate engine is concerned all you need is S I A G.
Start, Ignition, Alternator, Gauges.
After that post back with questions.

Chevy 350 SB,Carburated,engine wiring diagram?

Can anyone please help? I have a crate chevy 5.7 I just got in my 1985 CJ7 Jeep, I have MSD super blaster coil,MSD 6al module and MSD distributor. I have an external Edelbrock elec. fuel pump as well. Does anyone have a basic wiring diagram that I could print and follow as I wire it with the painless performance P11010(i think) harness? Any help would be very, very appreciated! Thank you in advance for your time.
