2fox Or bore x bore x.stroke x.7854 x 8= cubes
03-09-2012 06:14 AM EVERY block is different. When I sleeve these, the OD of repair sleeve is 4.440+ and there is still over .100" still in the original wall. So a .125 overbore should not be a problem. I have drag raced them with no problems. A 4.50 stroke crank will probably need some clearance work. Depends on other factors. Such as Type and length of rods. Crank counterweight style.

2fox I think you can bore it to..125 over safely.without using hardblock up to to the coolant holes in the block. So bore wold be 4.375 has can fit a 4.500 with clearancen.maybe more. Could possibly for 4,750 stroke. Go 4.440.bore with hard block fill.
that's close to a.4.500 bore think of of that only. .060 more or think of of like this only. .030 per side
personally. I got a. Dart bigM block
use the above.formula to find out cubes good luck

stinger460 Bore x Bore x Stroke x Number of cylinders x .7854

(Example) 4.5 Bore x 4.5 Bore =20.25 - 20.25 x 4.5 Stroke=91.125 - 91.125 x 8 cylinders=729 - 729 x .7854= 572 cubic inches
