Too Many Projects Check all the ground wires. Almost sounds like a loose ground, with the bump symptom.

A faulty ground could cause the backfeed Jester is talking about. Power from the alt is gonna go somewhere and it can back feed thru positive wires to find a ground and keep a circuit open.

Older Chevy pickups were famous for that. Once the wimpy ground wires on the box failed, all sorts of crazy things happened with lights, both on the box and dash indicators.

I am going to remove the center bolt and unplug the main harness and clean it with contact cleaner tomorrow,i just had a brake controller installed and 7 pin light plug with back up lights and a battery charger wire so batter would always be charged on car trailor, But I disconected it on the way back No Change ( mebe should have installed it myself )

any thing that works with ignition off still works ,,every thing that works when ignition is turned On does not work when this happens, I might try replacing ignition switch tomorrow,

Yes the ALT' will feed power back with key off and battery disconnected it shorts back through the system and as long as the engine runs the alt feeds back and if you stall the engine shut off the key and hook up battery the alt will drain the battery, a short across the internal regulator or a bad wiring job can cause this the alternator will feed power back! It happens all the time when guys try to wire hot rods or just rewire their charging systems and they make a mistake and it can happen when you get a short naturally "Murphys Law"

Its a problem that isn't that rare LOL and worth a check

Thanks ,I will try that , I am thinking a breaker but don't know if it has a main other than the Fuseable links,

It is a Diesel I think it will run without a battery or alternator

but requires power for kill switch,,i went back to shop it starts runs fine and everything works as it should cant find problem unless it is Not working ,

forgot to mention ,,coming back from Nashville last night in the rain ,when I would hit a hole or bump in the road my wipers defrosters and lights would come on for a few seconds then blink a few seconds then go off and stay off unti; I hit another bump,
