MARTINSR If you are trying to upload them thru the "manage attachments" button when you post they are likely simply too big. That is the only cause of failure I have found.

MARTINSR The beds are exactly the same from 49-53 and the mid year 47-48 will be the same outside of a hole for the fuel filler on the right side above the running board.

52 chev 3/4 ton truck bed

thanks brian, do you know how many years the bed design was the same? ie. maybe 1948 through 1952? or do i need to find the exact part ? bed for only 1052 3/4 ton (dump)...

MARTINSR The 3/4 ton had about an 8 inch longer wheel base. So the running boards, running board aprons, and of course the bed. Behind the wheel the bed is the same, as are the fenders. If you google these trucks you will see that some have another bed pocket in front of the fenders, those are the 3/4 ton.

matt167 Get a regular box for it and hook it up.. From the factory a 1/2 ton dump shortbed was available altho very rare, it did use the regular shortbed. 1 of them ( orig restored ) sits in a used car dealer showroom near where I used to work.
