Nice pedal work herriot
I had trouble with my gas pedal being too far toward the center of the car. The aftermarket (street rod) gas pedals put the pedal off to the right of the throttle cable by about an inch. I rebuilt one of those pedals to place the pedal exactly in line with the throttle linkage. The picture doesn't quite show the part, but you can see that an additional inch to the right puts the pedal on the transmission hump.
BTW, you can take a look at many 37 & 38 Chevy street rods at 38 Chevy | Honoring the 37/38 Chevy.

Hey guys just checking in.
I am going to be putting the 38 back in the garage very soon.
I have some new headers to put on, to finish up the exhaust system.
But first I need to get the door panels put back on, from fixing the door latch.
(I had to buy some plastic sheeting, was the reason it never got done before)
I still need to seal up the firewall, and install the new stereo system.

I haven't tried yet.
I hhave been super busy with other stuff.
I dislocated my knee about 3 weeks ago.
Ended up tearing a ligament.
So i have been running around to dr.s trying to take care of that.
Also I have been building a new discgolf course at the local state college, and we just came onto a very large step in the process, so I have been trying to keep that herd of cats pointed in the right direction.
Heck, I haven't been able to find time to put my door panels back on, after fixing my wing windows, door handles, and installing the new door checks.
Now we have my kids 240sx in the garage

I am still driving mine, it won't go to sleep until the snow flies. We have been having an unusually warm fall which has been great. It is cool this weekend but will be back in the 60's next week and we set a record high of 78 the other day. Hopefully it will last awhile longer. We like El Nino in the northeast.
Matt - Were you able to order one?

|Too Many Projects||
I'm thinking it may have more to do with their ability to pay for the parts up-front. If they are not able to make financial arrangements, they can only have X amount made...

Sleep tight 38
How does it make any sense to have LESS MADE than are ON the WAITING LIST ????????

|Too Many Projects||I put my '38 to bed for the winter in a friend's pole building yesterday...|

|Leakie||I was on that list for 3 or 4 years also. I guess they want to have a sure thing when they manufacture a batch and not tying up their money in inventory.|
