AutoGear WOOF! Yeah that makes sense; so realtree camo is out? Perhaps DIRT sanctioning should look into barber pole painting for driveshafts?

Does anyone know why some roundy round sanctioning bodies insist the D/S be painted white?

billonwheels My drive shaft came out ok. I Degreased it and sanded it with 60 grit. wiped it down with Denatured Alcohol.Painted it with Cast colored paint....looks cool...

sure paint it...

i painted mine white... let it dry.. then taped it in a spiral like a barber pole then sprayed it red... its just something a little different...

Irelands child Hang it up via a wire or whatever, tape off any exposed yoke surfaces that go into the transmission and paint away (why not paint it like a barber pole ).

Painting Drive Shaft

I'm getting my engine put in this week and the transmissions being painted, any problems with painting the Drive Shaft?
