Do yourself a favor

Go to your local lumber store and get a 40.00 gun with at least a 1.5 tip, 1.8 if you can find one...the right tool for the job...

johnyIROC I've done high-build polyester with 1.4 and no issues.

swvalcon You can make it work. Open your gun mixture all the way up and reduce both your epoxy and your 2-k primers. Just be sure to put on and extra coat of two.

John long I don't think you will be pleased with the results. a 1.8 nozzle is recommended do to the high viscosity of the primers. Hard to get a good wet high build with a finish gun.

primer questions

Need some help on spraying primer. Can I use a 1.3 or 1.4mm nozzle tip to spray epoxy primer and 2k primer?
