Rickracer 98 and up Intrepid fans work great, and are what a lot of V8 S10 guys are using. Here's a shroud idea a lot of folks can use: Baking Pan/Cookie Sheet Fan Shroud

malc I made a box shroud and placed two fans on it to cool my 86 Camaro.

And cobbled up a new air dam.

Camaro820 Thanks guys! I will set up the fans to pull! Much appreciated!

John long Ditto to all of the above. Using a shroud will double the effiency of the puller by drawing air in across the entire radiator.

blwn31 With electric fans, whenever possible, you want to use puller/s.

fan blades

if your worried about cooling
you can use a dual fan set up
straight blades move more air but are noisier

327NUT If you're going to use electric set it up with a puller fan(s).

electric fan setup

hey guys. on my 84 camaro, i was wondering if it would be better to set up my fans to push in air, or the pull the cool air in? a couple people told me to push the air in wouldnt do any good because of how the front nose of the car is.
