The Flyin Wop No,the newer FoMoCo tilt collums are completely differant.Parts will not interchange.I used to do a lot theft jobs for when I was with ford for 36+ years.Replacement parts for older ones like a 73 were almost impossible to find from normal channels.

Mr.Fixxit
Ford Steering Column Help wanted.

Ok, not sure if this applys here exactly. But the steering wheel does control the suspension. anyway. I have a '73 Mark IV Lincoln Continental. The Steering column was damaged when a thief tried to steal the car, thankfully the battery was low. They broke the shifter handle assembly right off the column, and must have used something to try and twist the ignition lock, the lock cylinder and all the internal mechanisms where bents twisted or stripped. I converted to a custom floor shift after this... But I need a Column Cap??? The Cast piece of the column that has the ignition lock in it. Can you retro fit any other later Model Ford Steering columns, equipped with Tilt Wheel and Cruise? Any of the round styled columns, like even the 1990's broncos or something?
