Actually, it will fit a neutral balance small block (265-350, but not the external balance 400) also, since all Big Block Chevys (366/396/427) were neutral balance until the 1970 intoduction of the external balance 454.

Its just an 11" clutch nuetral balance flywheel, fits SBC and BBC except the external balance engines.

66GMC I found a thread on a corvette forumcorvetteforum and it sounds correct. Your date code translates to Jan 2 , 1968 (I think)

Sorry I forgot to give the Numbers in the previous post!!
#3789733 with a date code of A 2 8. I'm not sure but i think i removed it from a 68 corvette many many years ago.
