There is somebody selling some new cradles locally on Craigslist that look just like the Summit/Northern units. I'm gonna check 'em out and see how strong they are. Otherwise I'll go for one of these two.

I have a big block mopar sitting in one now from Norther Tools, moved it in the back of my truck, no problems with holding the weight.
motor is complete not just a short block

|lt1silverhawk||Yeah , that's what I figured. Just don't want any casters falling off while moving the engine around. I'll give the Summit one a shot. Thanks Dave!|

|327NUT||They are probably all built by the same little ol' chinese guy, look on ebay and you'll probably find the same thing only a little cheaper. Any of them would work just fine.|

Summit Racing and Northern Auto Engine Cradles
I am shopping around for an engine cradle and came across this unit: SUM-910057 - Summit Racing® Roll-About Engine Cradles. The other one I am looking at is from Northern Auto: Wel-Bilt Engine Cradle — 1000-Lb. Capacity, Model# 012001-B.
They are the cheapest ones I've seen and I am concerned about the quality. I am wondering if any members have any experience with them, good or bad.
