AutoGear WATCH THE INPUT SHAFT LENGTH.

Some time around 2000; the length of the input increased on the Ford T5's
It probably has something like a 3.35:1 1st gear; so don't go crazy with the axle ratio's. 3.23 or 3.31 is all you really need in your little buggit

big gear head I saw this on craigslist today. It might be worth checking out. 2006 mustang transmission 5 speed I think they have the same 10 spline input shaft as the older transmissions, but I'm not sure.

Really appreciate the info Sam. Can't understand why more people haven't posted. I was hoping for more choices, maybe I worded the question wrong.

1975 ford 300 inline six, manual trans that fit?

Ok this should be a quick one for all the Ford transmission Gurus that are on here. I have a 75 ford 300 inline six with the stock cast iron bell housing and stock three speed manual transmission that came with it. I am putting the engine in a T-bucket and I am not sure if I am going to use the three speed. I would like to know what other manual transmissions would bolt up to this engine. Is there any over drives available and will any of the 90's mustang 5 speeds work.
Thank you very much!
Chris
