700R4 Front seal leak over 65mph

I have a 1993 700r4 that just started leaking out of the front inspection cover (dropped cover and full of fluid). The funny thing is that it only leaks when the the fluid is full and at highway speeds over 65 to 70. If I leave it 1 1/2 - 2 qts low or just below the dipstick reading there is no leak. Just would like some input before pulling the trans and replacing the front seal and pump bushing. Thanks in advance.
