I agree about the truck......

hcompton I think we had an old station wagon with those headlights. Just turned sideways. Im stunned anyone wanted that style light on a truck like that. two little round lights would have made the truck very sweet looking. Hell even the crappy square lights down low and properly aligned and not straight up and down.

We all have seen the days when paint was bad and color choice can only be explained as 80's. But that doesn't even look that old. LOL

Now hold onto your butt cause those colors are coming back around. Lots of 80's is now retro cool. Yuk!!!! But very true. A solid piece of antique old furniture is almost worthless today. Paint it pink and white and orange like that its art and sell for hundreds of dollars. Taste seem to rotate every few years and they always come back around. How those themes get applied is a major problem.

Square quads,,,uggghhhh........

Mods should (IMHO) match the era.
Or at least match the theme of the build. But honestly, if the whole car were matching THAT theme it would have been crusher ready. LOL

Rodnit Even tho I'm a Beast owner, I agree with you guys on this one. A ton of work left. Heck, paint you're looking at about another $8k? If a guy could do "all" the work themselves, "maybe" they could come out not too bad.....

ebay charges more for a reservoir. So people dont use them. pretty common.

Only cars really sell well enough to put them up for auction. Most other items dont get the attention it takes to get the buyers fighting. So now a days you only get one or two bids. We put everything up buy it now. I sell some cheaper parts for auction but those often go for a dollar.

As for cars i dont bid on dollar cars Who knows what these nuts want for the car. Might be good price might be the moon. More often its the moon. At some point its just a waste of a bid. For me i would like to know what the guy wants and just buy it or walk away.

To me 27K seems like a steep price for that car im sure he will be dancing with one bid. You can get clapped out one for cheap. Paint and new interior does a lot and hides a lot. I never figured how someone could spend that much money without really looking at the car.

MARTINSR I have sold thousands of items on Ebay, cars, motorcycles, zillions of parts, key chains, cameras, I don't care what it is I have sold it. And you are very very right, you want to start the bidding! You want to start people putting some numbers on it to get it moving.

Rodnit It ceases to amaze me how people sell cars on e-bay. Instead of having a starting price of $1000, or so, they start the bidding at the minimum price they would accept. Start low and put a reserve on it. Am I missing something? By starting high, it makes me think the vehicle isn't worth that much. I see it a lot. I guess it's one of my pet peeves...... C'mon people.......
