57halfton It is shorter than stock it ends just outside the firewall with a U joint but mine extends farther foward with another shaft and rag joint to a rack and pinion steering. Ididit makes them in different lengths.

55 chevy truck shorter steering column

Looking for a shorter steering column for my 1955 Chevy Truck. Any ideas? Does anyone make one or does someone make a column that fits but can be shortened? I don't think stock column can be shortened. Thanks fellas.
