4L60E rebuild--updates required?

Working on a 1998 Chevy k1500 5.7 350. 4L60E trans. I have the ATSG Manual and the ATSG update. Can any of you experienced transmission builders confirm what updates must be done. Most of the updates in the manual are for older model years and I just want to make sure I have done every last one that is needed.

Also does anyone have feedback from the Monster Transmission rebuild kits?

Thank you in advance.
