Valkyrie5.7 You're going to want everything from the plenum up off the mustang, including the throttle body. The crown vics air intake will be oriented in the opposite direction, and plenum will be backwards. Other than that, they'll be identical, with exception to possibly the exhaust manifolds. Check to see if the crown vic has had it's intake manifold changed for the revised one with the aluminum crossover. If not, you're going to have to replace that likely soon.

poncho62 Should be a bolt in......The Mustang engine might have a bit more horsepower, but both blocks etc are the same

Crown Vic swap

How hard is it to swap out a 1997 4.6 Mustang Gt engine for the 1997 Crown Vic engine. Before someone calls me stupid for doing this, I torched the Mustang engine and can get the crown Vic 4.6 for free. Both cars are 1997 models. The mustang is a convertible GT.
