ap72 you need to watch your tailshaft alignment. It need to be parallel to your pinion, for this reason mounting your engine and trans together is usually the easiest approach. Other than that as far back and low as you can get it is usually best for handeling.

S10 Racer It depends on what motor you're talking about. Is it a carb'd motor or FI? If carb'd, you need to mount the motor where the carb base of the intake is level. This will usually make your motor tilt back slightly but the objective is to keep the carb level, not the motor.

Mounting Engine

Im mounting an engine for the first time and need some tips like how to line everything up,should the engine be level?,tips on welding on motor mounts. Any good sites out there with help with this kinda stuff any tips would be much apprieciated
