have napa test and polish the armature, cut the mica out if needed.
install new brushes, bendix and bushings.
and your good for another 30 years

I go to NAPA for that sort of thing...Another thing is to make a good relation with your parts guy..He will be more helpful in that case..

'64 Chevy 6 Starter Motor
Where is a good place to get a decent starter for a 60's chevy inline 6 cylinder? Are there any reputable business specializing in offering remanufactured units? I am looking for something good, not junk. Prefer to keep my old one and purchase a rebuilt outright.
