|speedbump||You didn't say what kind of trans. If auto, that much duration wants 3-3500 converter to launch OK. If you're using an OD trans, I'd want a 3.73 to 4.10 gear in the rear unless you're already spinning the tires. I think you can get that 60' down to 1.8 and still be very streetable...and then you'll start to like that car. I'm also a fan of single plane manifolds with that much cam especially if you don't have the hood clearance to use a spacer.|

|vinniekq2||2.2 -60 ft time, you need tires and or gears. 107 mph says you are down on power(DA) still a high 12s car though, just need some time to iron out the bugs.|

I got to messing around with the jetting/timing & the air has cooled off, car seems to be running better, i'll most likely take it back to the track Sat. & see what it'll do, last time out it ran a 13.03 @ 107 on a 2.2 60ft., this was on street tires & DA was 52-5300 ft. So i had alot stacked against me, I feel the car should pull off solid mid 12s @ 11-112 on street tires, its only pulling 3200 lb. weight with me, so its light.

|speedbump||If you have a 400 or so CID small block, your money might be better spent on a good set of heads and intake if your short block is in good shape. A set of AFR's with the CNC option with a cam and single plane intake can make serious HP in a small package. Just a thought.|

|speedbump||240-245 @ .050. KB hypers or forged with the small bump and block zero decked to get 9.5-1. decent reworked 781's on the bowl and short turn with 2.190's and 1.88's. Performer RPM air gap or Victor Jr. or equiv. with 2" spacer and a 800 to 1050 carb. Reworked HEI or other capable of good spark to 6200RPM with advance at 36-38 degrees on good pump gas. Decent headers with 2" primaries and 3-3 1/2 collectors. Make sure your block is honed with a torque plate and the guide work on the heads is good as well as good springs that will take you to 6-6200 RPM. 3/8 .080 wall push rods probably .100 long and some good comp 1.7 roller rockers. Factory rods will work if you have sombody decent resize them with some decent bolts. If you pay attention to detail, this thing will be close to bullet proof, even with a 100HP nitrous plate on top.|

500-525 hp 468?
What would be a good set-up for a 468 to make this HP & be nice on the street, run on pump gas, I'm looking to stay with a FT cam & find some 781/049 heads.
