I had read this thread called "1970 Impala Disc Conversion" some time ago on this forum, which describes that it is very easy to mount '69-'82 Corvette front brakes on the stock spindles of a '69-'70 disc brakes Impala. I had also seen that conversion explained somewhere else online.
Seemed simpl, so I jumped in, and met a problem:
The Corvette rotor carrier/bracket, which mount on the spindle, does not fit!
Corvette and Impala spindles are the same part number, so this is not the issue, the bracket is the issue.
Obviously some people have done this conversion before, what caliper bracket have you used?
Thanks!
