To answer your question, you could try Pulling the valve body out and cleaning it up

S10 Racer Alot is the way the motor has been used. If you do alot of heavy towing or running hard, things are going to wear out more quickly. Alot has to do with maintenance (frequent oil changes, fuel filters, air filters, etc.).

Weak 3rd gear

I have a 04 Trailblazer that slip going to 3rd gear only at light peddle. Change fluid and filter. Anyone want to tell me what is the fix?
