I broke the no Google rule here just to confirm my memory. My cousin's Vette was a coupe though.

My cousin had a '65 Corvette with a 365 horse 327 with A/C back in the early 70's.

you are correct on the low HP , the 350 L79 and up used the higher redline

when I was in school I worked for the county as a parts chacer I had to drive a 60 Corvair 4 dr for a shop truck Had to check the Oil every day so I saw that engine a lot , it had only 1 carb nounted on a tublar intake just above the fan and the air filter was right beside the spare tire ,don't know if they were common but it is Not listed on this list But the 4 carb Corsa is listed 65--69 one thing about GM back then is you coukd never say Never,

496CHEVY3100 I should have waited my mother had a 57 Lancer with a 318,,and My Dad had a 58 with the 361 2x4 at the same time ,,I was too young to drive then but I remember them well,,,
sone one ask a question ,,I AM AT A LOSS.
